Ellis

We are the only Learn Direct centre in Hertfordshire to be delivering the new English Language learning program (ELLIS). ELLIS is an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course - but is open to virtually anyone who has difficulties with the English Language. There are two levels of English on offer on this IT-based course - Intro (For beginners - approx. 80 hours learning) and Middle Mastery (Intermediate - approx. 60 hours learning). The courses cover language skills from Entry Level through to Level 1. ELLIS is ideal for anyone who is interested in 'brushing up' their English in a flexible learning environment, at their own pace and in their own time.

New Clait

If you have a basic knowledge of the use of computers and information technology - OCR's Level 1 Certificate for IT users (New CLAIT) is for you! New CLAIT is a scheme that provides opportunities for you to be assessed in the use of computers and information technology. The course covers the skills required to operate a variety of computer application packages and will provide you with the foundation for many forms of employment and leisure activities. New CLAIT is an accredited course and to gain a full certificate you are required to achieve 5 units (from a choice of 10) - covering approximately 75 hours of tuition.
